A few Saturdays ago Tori (angel's sister), Izzy (roommate), and I all surprised Angel for her BACHELORETTE WEEKEND!
I'm sorry but I'm drinking a peppermint expresso right now from the coffee shop at my school and if you are in the IWU vicinity S T O P reading this and go get one.
Actually please just read this first then do that because I'm writing this instead of studying for my stats exam.
Anyways, Angel was very surprised when Tori threw the "bride-to-be" sash around her neck! We made her wear that thing all weekend long. Angel is NOT a partier, not that any of us really are. So, Tori came up with some great non-typical bachelorette stuff. We drove from IWU to Angel's hometown.
We scarfed down some food before we had to head to our first stop!
Please ignore the fact that I look way too happy about that food.
Stop thinking about it.
Angel's mom is a F A B U L O U S hostess! She is such a sweet lady and gave us way too much good food! Don't even get me started on breakfast!
Angel does not like getting her picture taken which does not really work out too well when her roommate shouts "CANDIDS FOR THE BLOG"

Thank goodness for Tori. She is so creative! She came up with the idea for us to go to a pottery place and all paint something for Angel's home!

Sunday morning after church, Angel had a bridal shower! It was seriously so fun I would do it over and over again! It was tea party themed and I think she got about 46 crock pots! She is such a relaxed, happy, easy bride!
I was the gift passer/trash taker and Izzy was the walk-the-gifts-around-the-roomer.
Such a fun weekend with great girls! Thank you Tori for everything you did!
Oh wait except it's not over. Is there a rule about how long blog posts can be?

Two weekends ago, we had a semi-surprise bridal shower at school for Angel with girls from the team!
So we started planning this on Monday of last week and I think around Tuesday Angel told me she was leaving for the weekend for a different bridal shower. As I was slapping myself in slow-motion inside my head, I pretended like that was completely okay.
Poor Steven. He received so many texts from me that week. We ended up telling her about our shower for her Friday night so that she could get back from the other shower in time. (We wrote it on the mirror)
You guys, one of my new favorite things is fashion sketching! I did these the night before for fun and then decided to turn them into a decoration for the shower!
Saturday morning was CRAZY. Izzy, Rachel, Lindsay, and I were so busy getting everything ready for the shower at 3! (I loved every second of it.) We went to wal-mart, the dollar store, starbucks, and hobby lobby.
Izzy is a genius. We were trying to think of gifts that college students could afford to bring to the shower and Izzy came up with the idea to buy Angel's tioletries/cosmetics for her. This way, it's one less thing Angel and Steven will have to worry about when they get married. I secretly took pictures of Angel's stuff and posted it on our cross-country facebook page.
And, because my team is amazing, it worked out so well!

Really though, WHY
I am so sad that we're going to loose Angel as a roommate, but I know that she is going to be so happy with Steven! They are perfect! I will be visiting lots and don't be too mad if you happen to find hot glue on your bed. I may be making last-minute attempts to keep you!
