Bittersweet

This semester absolutely flew by, I cannot believe I'm home for summer! Here's what I've been up to the past couple weeks of school.

We had our Little State track meet a couple weeks ago and I raced the 5k which felt super short after racing the 10k at the previous meet!
Love my roomies (Rachel & Izzy)

Love the support from this guy.
And my family who practically never misses a meet!!

We tried out a new cafe for Izzy's birthday after church one day and it was the cutest! Also, the quinoa was pretty darn good.

Turning in final papers/projects!

LOTS and LOTS of McConn to get me through.

And LOTS of Luke humoring me for selfies.

Bridal shower for one of my teammates who's getting married this summer!!

One Saturday I decided not to compete at our meet because there weren't many long distance races, so I woke up and watched Luke run a coffee 5k, where he had to drink coffee throughout the race! Then we went on a picnic, and watched some intense frisbee golf players... odd.

Luke and I decided to wake up before church to go to Starbucks, which is a perfect morning for me!

I have been obsessed with braiding my roommates' hair lately, they both have beautiful hair that makes anything I try look good!
Now I just need to learn how to do it to myself...

I thought it was ridiculous how many running shorts were in my laundry.

One of my best friends, Allison, is always super encouraging about my drawing/calligraphy and asked me to make some stationary for someone she knows, it was so much fun! I'm hoping to start an etsy soon!

Our first sports banquet and then Ivanhoe's afterwards for ice cream!

Track banquet #2.

My forever roomie, even though she's MARRIED now! She is the cutest little wife.

My training group!!

Love them so so much. They were crouching to get down to my height.

Now you see why. How is it fair to have supermodel friends when you're 5'4''?

Posing with our new Bibles from coach.

Going to miss her so much now that she's graduated!

We had starbucks both mornings before we left for the meet, it was amazing. Izzy's new nickname is WHITE GIRL, she loves it.

Love this coach!!!!!

Even though he asked if Luke had vision problems when he found out I had a boyfriend..

And most of all, LOVE my family who came out to watch my very last track meet ever! They are my favorite fans!

The track where I ran my very last track race.

Lots of long bus rides this past weekend!

It was cold, rainy, and windy all day Saturday so we cuddled until the meet started, and then of course had to get my picture with Allison who naturally wore an umbrella hat. Normal..

We went to dirty dans Saturday night after the we got back from the meet. It was my first time so I couldn't say no. It doesn't open until 1am so it's a big ordeal.

And now I'm home for the summer, where I will be doing an internship and lifeguarding with Lindsay. (#linandhaysavetheday) And running lots of miles. I can't wait to see what the summer holds, I'm feeling good about this one!
