THREE

Today is Luke and I's THREE year anniversary of dating!! I am so happy that I can finally say three years instead of almost three years. He is the most amazing guy and is so genuinely sweet. We met in A&P in high school, my senior year and his junior year. We constantly got in trouble for talking and have been inseparable since. I really do fall more and more in love with him as time goes on and he sets such a great example for me. Here are a just a few of the things that I love about him.

The way he always made time to see me in between classes and still puts up with me tracking him down before class at college. Seeing him for just two minutes before my first class makes the whole day brighter!

That he calls every professional or college athlete that he loves whether its soccer, basketball, or football "my boy!"

How easily he gets excited for things.

How extremely handsome he is and he doesn't even know it. MOST HUMBLE GUY I TELL YOU.

Sorry for screaming.

How he gets a little teary saying goodbye to his parents/grandparents.

How he puts up with me telling him what outfits to wear when I want to coordinate.

How he reminds me not to care what other people think.

How hard-working he is. He studies H A R D for just about every test and quiz.

That he spends time helping Linds with accounting and gets mad when she asks someone else.

How easy-going he is. If you know me, you know how much I need that.

How he sometimes just needs to clean his house/dorm room.

When he jams out in the car.

When he makes fun of the music I listen to.

When he raised his hand in church when the pastor asked who was in love. (I might have started happy crying in the car on the way home)

When he asks, "So you're crying because you're happy…?"

Poor guy. He puts up with so much.

How he can keep up with me on long runs when I train year-round and he trains for two weeks.

How he "gets pumped" about accounting.

That he is already telling me what color I can't paint our future house. (all white everything!!)

That he had all of the signs I made him hanging on the wall in his room.

That he keeps a special box of our stuff in his room.

That he made me the sweetest scrapbook ever when I left for school.

That he comforted me over the phone when boys at college were mean.

That he is happy 99.9% of the time.

He is SO GOOFY.

and a little stubborn.

That he humors me in whatever stage/fad I'm going through. No questions asked (I am currently showing him tons of blog/wedding videos)

How much he loves to play cribbage. (definitely thought that was only for Grandmas before I met him. now I like it too)

That he feels my muscles after I lifting for cross-country.

He loves me unconditionally and I believe he truly helped to change my heart and my relationship with God.

There are so many more things that I love about him. This is just a little teeny tiny peek into how great he is. And he's mine!

I love you so much Luke. Happy three years!!! I hope you enjoyed your anniversary breakfast scones.

FALLing in love with fall. Cheesy so what.

So I am a huge huge super fan of fall. For instance, I am in the process of planning my fall wedding. No I'm not engaged. Hi luke! Okay what am I even talking about. Oh yes FALL. FALL FALL FALL. I'm freaking out because its already almost mid-october. This is what fall has been like so far.

Cross country season is fully underway and a few weeks ago we had our athletic commission ceremony.

I made pumpkin cookies using only three ingredients, which is great because that's about all I can handle. I have still been obsessed with my calligraphy marker and watercolor pens!

Such a fun cross meet in Louisville! I loved all the fall trees at the course we raced at.

Yamato date after church with luke a couple weeks ago. Sketchy on the outside, nice on the inside! And delicious! Go Marion

Puppies on campus. These two guys bring them on here quite often (we think its just to pick up girls) so we do a quick walk-by-pet-the-dog-not-too-much-eye-contact type of move.

Thursday night Luke and I went out for frozen yogurt because he is the most easy going guy and he was stressed out about his Clep test. He passed!! So we celebrated. Luke's froyo looks like an eight year old made it. Neon green ice cream and those fruity juice bubble things.

Friday night we had a cross country meet at Bethel. It was a blast and just about everyone seemed to have had a good race. My parents drove all the way to come watch me, yet again!

Me and Mo Mo.

One of my closest friends, Allison!!

Allison is O B S E S S E D with cats. see above picture. She wants a sphinx cat someday, those are the ugliest things ever. If you don't believe me google. Gotta love her.

My cute mom!

Morgan and I decided we wanted to sport tats at our race. We are hoping the whole team joins for conference because it is obvious that we look really really cool and serious wearing them.

Saturday we had a QUADRUPLE date to a farm/corn maze with our friends! Selfies happened on the way there and I am better at flaring my nostrils than Luke is.

The question is: were we the only ones there over the age of 6?

Posing with the gourds(?) squashes(?)

Loveeee the colors.

Where are we?

So we decided to race through the corn maze every couple for themselves. Luke and I got last. I don't know how but everyone else's times we in the 8ish minute range… Luke and I's time? 18 something. It was still fun I guess.

Then we had apple cider slushies and a cinnamon sugar pretzel! Delicious and oh so fall like.

Such a fun day with fun people!
Let the fall festivities continue!
